Delivering the Crunch in Pakistan Technology
Non Cooperation of the Corporate World
People say that the youth doesn’t take interest in the country. They are going overseas for employment and opportunities. Why? One of the reasons is that the organizations in Pakistan are very harsh and rude to the youth.
For instance many students go for their project based work to these organizations but they don’t co-operate with them in a good manner. The organizations hesitate in giving any kind of information even if the students have a permission letter from their university. Therefore, a student can’t go to the organization if he or she doesn’t have any kind of reference or link there. If a student doesn’t have any link or reference then what will that individual do? This situation will only make the individual depressed and discourage him or her further. Because of these things, the country is leading towards more and more corruption, day by day. If you will not let people do things the right way, they will definitely go the other way. And if these people are the youth and they go the wrong path, then the organizations are taking equal part to destroy the work ethics of the youth as other factors do. The so called friendly organizations are leading the youth to find other means. They discourage the students on the very first level.
The question arises: Are we going to face the same problems in the future too or is there going to be a change? Something to think about.

I agree. I say we’re treated like ‘bher bakrees’. We are hushed and shushed. I cannot comment on companies and project based work, but my feeling is mutual because I’m taking my final exams in a supposedly “excellent” university. We have no seating arrangement, we have broken chairs, we have no windows, some students are also made to sit in the hallway. I feel our education system discourages studying. Papers get leaked, people with sources pass, and I could go on and on and on. Coming to the point, you are right about our youth being discouraged. No wonder most of us want to get the hell out of here!

Right Anum, and sadly, I don’t see all that changing soon because these things don’t seem to be on the priority list ( or any concerned authority’s list for that matter ).
Until we stop treating youth like shit, we’ll stay a third world country.

DEAR ALL, I hope u read this. Am just a concerned Pakistani, first of all if any one of us recieves such attitude from organizations, one must not be discouraged, IT IS HARSH, yes! it is Harsh for YOU! THEM, they think they have a lot more important things to do at work than entertaining students. So don’t take it wrong, take a positive
ATTITUDE
with you and think that this harshness is going to teach you toughness!! Believe me this is what I learnt when I was treated bad HOWEVER because someone taught me that I MUST HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE, therefore now I am at a very good position in my Co. AlhamduLILLAH!!!
CONCLUSION: BE POSITIVE! CHAHEY JO HO JAEY, DONT THINK OR PERCIEVE NEGATIVE!!!
